About Us
Crompton guitars, established by luthier Nigel Jones was started in order to offer a comprehensive service to the musicians of South West who feel their instrument is important enough to warrant the attention of a qualified and experienced Luthier.
If you are looking for a set up, or if you are looking for a structural repair it is always better to bring the instrument to someone who understands their construction and someone who will give each job the same attention to detail.
Although we always have some instruments under construction, we treat set ups and repairs with equal importance and devide time equally amongst them. Some jobs inevitably take longer than others and some are long term projects but we always aim to stick to agreed timetables.
We carry out work for a number of musical instrument shops throughout the , rea including The Musical Instrument Company in Newton Abbot, The Exchange in Totnes. We also carry out all repairs referred by Norman Reed Guitars (now closed) which was part of The Totnes School of Guitar
